Warranty Policy of Ocypus

To standardize warranty or refund procedures, please apply for the warranty service within the specified time period after purchase. The time period may vary, depending on the product purchased and where it was purchased. Please confirm the after-sales policy with the retailer where you purchased the product.

For warranty service requests that cannot be processed through the original purchase channel, please contact the Ocypus support team directly. Ensure to include valid proof of purchase (receipt or invoice), product images, images of the product's serial number, and a detailed description of the issue.

Ocypus does not provide refunds of any kind to channel users. Products returned through an authorized distributor must comply with the return and refund policies of that authorized distributor.

【Return】
If you need to return a product for replacement or repair, please make sure you obtain a return merchandise authorization (RMA) number or written confirmation email from the Ocypus team. If a product is returned without confirmation, Ocypus will reject the product and return it to the sender, in which case the sender will bear the cost of transportation.

We have multiple RMA receiving locations worldwide. We will provide you with a shipping address in your confirmation notice. Kindly send the product awaiting RMA to this address, which will serve as your designated return location. Any changes to this address must be approved by Ocypus beforehand. Packages received at unauthorized locations will be rejected and returned to the sender at the sender's expense.

Please use packaging materials that can protect the product adequately. All packages suffering external damages will be rejected and returned to the sender, in which case the sender will bear the cost of transportation.

Ocypus will perform a cosmetic inspection of the package prior to receipt to ensure that there is no visible damage during the transportation that could affect the return of the product. Ocypus is not responsible for any damage incurred during transportation to the RMA receiving location.

Please choose a courier that provides tracking of packages. Ocypus is not responsible for lost or misdirected packages. To avoid problems at the time of receipt, please make sure to notify your after-sales service staff of the package's tracking information in advance and attach a copy of the RMA confirmation email to the package. Packages arriving without prior notification of tracking information will be rejected and returned to the sender.

Upon inspection, the receipt of the product will be confirmed and the return will be processed. The exact duration of processing will depend on the product and service requested. Upon receipt of the product, the appropriate operator will keep you updated.

In order to provide the best possible service, Ocypus will continuously update this Warranty Policy without further notice.

【Warranty Period】
1. The warranty period of all Ocypus products starts from the date when the product is purchased (namely the actual date when the product is delivered). In cases where users are unable to provide a valid invoice as proof of purchase date, the date of shipment indicated in the serial number on the barcode of the product will be used to calculate the warranty period. During the warranty period, you are entitled to a warranty for performance failures caused by product defects.

2. Samples, prizes or gifts from Ocypus are subject to a 1-year warranty, provided that they are not transferred to other purchasers as second-hand products.

3. Claims for missing or damaged parts filed after two weeks of the billing date will not be considered a manufacturing fault or defect.

4. Repaired or replaced products shall be covered by the remainder of the original warranty period or thirty (30) days, whichever is longer, or subject to the warranty coverage specified by local laws.

5. If a product becomes obsolete or discontinued, Ocypus will, at our sole discretion, replace your obsolete or discontinued product with another functionally similar product.

6. The warranty period varies for different products. For more information, please refer to the Ocypus website, the user manual, the product package, or consult your dealer. In case of inconsistent warranty periods, the longer one shall prevail.

【Warranty Conditions of Ocypus】
Ocypus warrants that its products are free from defects in materials and technology during the warranty period, and can function normally and appropriately as expected. If a product proves to be defective in materials or technology during the warranty period, Ocypus will, at our sole discretion, repair or replace the product with another one of identical or similar functions. The new product will be covered by the remainder of the original warranty period or thirty (30) days, whichever is longer.

When warranty service is requested, Ocypus will require proof of purchase (store receipt or invoice), which is a mandatory prerequisite for acquiring warranty service unless otherwise permitted. The original purchaser must submit proof of purchase and provide the serial number of the product in order to acquire warranty service (How do I find the serial number?). You may also be asked to provide additional information depending on the product and warranty service requested.

The entitlement to warranty is non-transferable. The warranty covers original purchasers only. Unless purchased from authorized Ocypus distributors, products bought from auction sites (such as eBay.com) or third-party private platforms (such as Amazon.com) will not be recognized.

【Warranty Scope of Ocypus】
Please note that Ocypus' after-sales service for products is not an unconditional guarantee during the warranty period. If, in the opinion of Ocypus, a product fails within the warranty period, Ocypus will, at its discretion, either repair or replace it with another product of equal or greater value (subject to availability). Any replaced parts will become the property of Ocypus. The warranty does not apply to software components of the product or to product damage caused by accident, misuse, abuse, improper installation, use of the product violating specifications and the user manual, natural or man-made disasters, unauthorized alterations, repairs or modifications.

Exclusions of warranty include but are not limited to:
1. Any damage not related to a manufacturing defect.
2. Any use of the product in an inappropriate environment.
3. Any product that has been modified without Ocypus' permission, or any product whose serial number or warranty label has been defaced, altered or removed.
4. Damage, deterioration or malfunction due to the following factors: accident, abuse, misuse, neglect, fire, water, lightning, other acts of nature, electrical surges, commercial or industrial use, unauthorized modifications to the product or failure to follow the user manual accompanying the product.
5. Third party products using Ocypus accessories, in which case it is advisable to contact the supplier or manufacturer for information on repairs.
6. Any product repaired by the user or by an organization or individual not authorized by Ocypus.
7. Any damage caused during transportation, in which case claims shall be filed with the carrier.
8. Unauthorized repair of Ocypus products will void the warranty provided by the Warranty Policy. Ocypus reserves the right to refuse to repair any product that has been altered, modified or repaired by anyone other than Ocypus service personnel.
9. Ocypus does not warrant that this product will meet all your requirements. It is your responsibility to determine the applicability of this product. Ocypus reserves the right not to accept unreasonable requests for returns or exchanges from you.
10. You shall bear the cost of shipping the product to the designated service location of Ocypus. Ocypus shall bear the cost of transporting the product back to you.
11. Ocypus reserves the right to retain, replace, repair, and provide warranty service for Ocypus products.

【Disclaimer】
Ocypus' sole obligation and liability under this warranty shall be limited to the repair or replacement of defective products at our discretion. In no event shall Ocypus be liable to the purchaser or any third party for any incidental or consequential damages (including, but not limited to, damages resulting from interruption of service, loss of data, and loss of business) or for tortious liability in connection with or arising out of the use or possession of this product.

No Ocypus dealer is authorized to make any changes, extensions or additions to this Policy.

【Not Covered by Warranty】
Warranty service does not cover problems or damage caused by, including but not limited to:
1. Failures beyond the warranty period;
2. Modification of the serial number to make it ambiguous or incomplete, or that the serial number does not physically match the actual product;
3. Damage caused by failure to use the product in accordance with the requirements of the user manual;
4. Natural wear and tear of the product (e.g. surface wear);
5. Any modification, abuse, accident, disassembly, misuse or unauthorized repair;
6. Damage caused by force majeure;
7. Connection to any power supply of incorrect voltage;
8. Failure or damage due to human causes or subjective intent or negligence (including, but not limited to, visible signs of smash with blunt force);
9. Any other cause not attributable to material or technological defects.

【Special Announcement】
Where there is any conflict between this Policy and national laws and regulations, national laws and regulations shall prevail.

【Warranty Periods】
